A lot of the hills in Zion had these cool ridges on
them.

Unable to afford a house in Vegas, we found the
perfect little mountain château in Mt. Carmel, built entirely from Lincoln Logs.

We had to wait about 20 minutes while they painted
the yellow lines in the middle of the road. They stopped traffic from both
directions, then let one side through at a time. And I thought we left the
road construction behind in Vegas!

This is Duck Creek. We stopped to take
pictures, and about ten other cars saw us, so they had to stop too. A
couple got out of one car, never said a word to each other, and just smoked.
I almost choked to death, they were trying to kill my fetus! Then they got
in their car and left. If they just wanted to smoke, why didn't they pull
over somewhere else, where there wouldn't be other people?!

A beautiful sunset at Navajo Lake.

The sun went down about 30 seconds after I took this
picture in Dixie National Forest.
